About FabricAcademy

Three Specialists.
One Platform.
One Service Model.

Enterprise organisations are investing more in learning than ever. The problem isn't spend — it's fragmentation. Platforms that don't connect. Data that doesn't surface. Training that can't prove its impact at board level.

FabricAcademy was built to solve that. Eight integrated capabilities, delivered as a fully managed service, by three organisations that have been doing this work for a combined twenty years.

The Origin

Three Organisations. One Joint Venture.

FabricAcademy is a joint venture between The Virtual Forge, Boundless Immersive, and MyContentScout. Each organisation brings a distinct and established specialism. Together they cover the full range of what enterprise learning infrastructure requires — engineering, immersive experience, and AI knowledge.

The Virtual Forge

The operational backbone of FabricAcademy. With over 20 years of experience delivering enterprise learning technology, AI engineering, data infrastructure, and managed services to complex organisations, The Virtual Forge brings the architecture, the AI capability, and the service discipline that makes the platform perform at scale.

Boundless

Designers and builders of VR simulations, digital twin environments, AR experiences, and virtual spaces. Where traditional training describes a scenario, Boundless Immersive puts your people inside one — using evidence-based immersive design to deliver learning that changes behaviour, not just records completion.

My ContentScout

Providers of MyContentScout — the AI knowledge platform that indexes an organisation's entire content estate — documents, policies, video, LMS content, operational databases — making it instantly accessible through natural language with precise, cited, role-appropriate answers drawn from verified sources.

Our Approach

We Enhance. We Don't Replace.

Your organisation has made significant investments in learning infrastructure. Those systems carry institutional knowledge, compliance history, and integrations that took years to build.

Replacing them wholesale introduces risk, cost, and disruption that the business rarely has the appetite for — and rarely needs to accept.

FabricAcademy layers on top of what you have. Integration, experience, and intelligence added to existing infrastructure — so your LMS keeps working, your data keeps flowing, and your people keep learning while the ecosystem becomes measurably more capable around them.

How We Deliver

From First Conversation to Full Deployment.

Contextual Discovery

Analyse
Discovery - We map your current state

Before any configuration begins, we spend time understanding your existing platforms, your data landscape, your compliance obligations, and the specific gaps you need to close. No assumptions. No generic proposals.

Configure — We build around your infrastructure

FabricAcademy capabilities are integrated with your existing systems and configured to your workflows, governance requirements, and learner experience objectives. Nothing is ripped out. Everything connects.

Deployment - We stay involved after go-live

Our managed service model means we own the platform alongside you — monitoring performance, maintaining the data pipelines, and optimising as your needs develop. You are never handed a platform and left to run it alone.

Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Do we have to replace our existing LMS to use FabricAcademy?

No. FabricAcademy is built on an enhancement-first philosophy. Our platform layers on top of your existing learning management infrastructure — adding AI-powered personalisation, immersive learning, and unified analytics without requiring migration, data loss, or disruption to live programmes. If your organisation does need a new platform, we build that too — but it is never the default recommendation.

What kind of organisations does FabricAcademy work with?

FabricAcademy is designed for enterprise organisations with complex, distributed workforces and high standards for compliance, safety, or operational performance. Our clients typically operate in sectors including healthcare, emergency services, automotive and manufacturing, utilities, financial services, government, and defence — though the platform is sector-agnostic and the underlying challenges we solve are common across all large organisations.

How long does implementation take?

It depends on scope. A focused engagement — for example, deploying the AI Knowledge Platform or adding an analytics layer to an existing LMS — can be live within weeks. A full ecosystem implementation, including custom platform development or large-scale VR simulation builds, is typically phased over three to six months. We scope every engagement individually and are transparent about timelines from the first conversation.

Which virtual classroom platform does FabricAcademy use for live sessions?

FabricAcademy uses Adobe Connect for all synchronous, instructor-led virtual classroom delivery. Adobe Connect provides persistent virtual rooms, breakout sessions, polling, whiteboarding, and full attendance and engagement reporting.  All of which feed into the FabricAcademy analytics layer. If your organisation already uses Adobe Connect, integration is straightforward.

Is this a SaaS platform or a managed service?

FabricAcademy is delivered as a fully managed service. That means a dedicated account team, an agreed SLA, and ongoing operational involvement — platform administration, data pipelines, reporting, and support are all handled by the FabricAcademy team. You are never handed a platform and left to operate it alone. This is deliberately different from a SaaS model where ownership of day-to-day operation passes to you at go-live.

We already have a VR training provider. Can we still use FabricAcademy?

Yes. Each FabricAcademy capability integrates with your existing infrastructure — you do not need to replace what is already working. If your organisation has an existing VR investment delivering results, we can connect it to the Analytics and Reporting or AI Knowledge Platform capabilities rather than replace it. Integration-first thinking applies throughout.

How does FabricAcademy demonstrate ROI?

Through the Analytics and Reporting capability, which draws data from every component of the platform — LMS completions, VR simulation scores, AI coaching progression, virtual classroom attendance — and connects it to business KPIs in role-appropriate dashboards. Rather than reporting on training activity, we report on workforce performance indicators: time to competency, compliance coverage, incident rates, error reduction, and productivity trends. These are the metrics that matter at board level.
